CDL 2024 rostermania: All team changes & rumors
Call of Duty LeagueThe 2023 CDL season has barely taken its last breath and rostermania is already well underway, as players begin discussions to find their new teams for 2024. Here are all the updates you need throughout the offseason.
Since New York Subliners’ win at CDL Champs 2023, the rumor mill has been going wild already, including initial reports that OpTic Texas have held talks with Dylan ‘Envoy’ Hannon and Zack ‘Drazah’ Jordan about joining the team next year.
While franchises will be having discussions with players across the league, here is what we know so far, including the biggest rumors and how the teams currently look.
When is CDL free agency?
Sunday, June 25 at 11.59 PM PT marked the deadline for contract extensions. Teams had until then to re-sign players that still have the option eligible in their contracts. Otherwise, those players will be released.
Then, on Monday, July 3, the new season, and thus free agency, officially started, meaning organizations can enter into negotiations with players and contracts can start to be signed.

Here is what the teams currently look like after the June 26 contract extension deadline, though some players, such as KiSMET (Subliners) and Dashy (OpTic) will likely have been re-signed to new contracts.

What are the rumors for CDL rostermania?
So far, since it’s still so early and the new season hasn’t begun, there are no confirmed changes between any of the 12 franchises.
However, several rumors have started to surface, with many more bubbling away as fans await confirmation or official reports. Here are the reports so far:
July 10:
- Boston Breach signs Snoopy for the 2024 season.

July 5:
- Atlanta FaZe wanted Scrappy but never negotiated with Toronto Ultra
- Drazah made the decision to join Atlanta FaZe over OpTic Texas
July 3:
- Seattle Surge announce the departure of Pred, Sib, Accuracy, & Mack
- Envoy reportedly chooses to sign with the Toronto Ultra
- Pred is reportedly “very likely” headed to OpTic Texas
- OpTic Texas is reportedly “expected” to sign Drazah but there is still “no guarantee”

- Drazah is reportedly at the top of Atlanta FaZe’s wishlist
