According to Active Player, Overwatch 2 currently averages 1,931,937 players a day and a total of 28,979,051 active users in the last 30 days. This is up 2% from June 2023, continuing the player base’s impressive growth since Overwatch 2’s launch.

On October 14, 2022, Blizzard revealed that 25 million players had played Overwatch 2 in the first 10 days of the servers going live. These are amazing numbers, likely due to the hype of the sequel’s release and the dev’s decision to go free-to-play.

In fact, the launch was so successful that Overwatch 2 has already achieved a daily player count peak that is nearly three times higher than the original.
