ChatGPT Plus price

ChatGPT Plus will cost users $20 per month. This is a decrease from the $42 per month that we saw from OpenAI’s “ChatGPT Pro” pilot program. This means that ChatGPT Plus will cost users around $240 per year annually. However, we also expect that ChatGPT Plus will eventually get a slightly discounted annual rate after it matures.

ChatGPT Plus was originally a pilot program named ChatGPT Pro

ChatGPT Pro was the working name for what eventually became ChatGPT Plus. Users began reporting that a “ChatGPT Pro” was becoming available to users, but not officially announced. Since it has been officially revealed, with a name change, it’s likely that OpenAI is currently using the current crop of subscribers as a soft launch of sorts,

With that in mind, it appears that tech companies like Microsoft are already working with OpenAI in order to bring some of the services over to its users. So, we’ll await our AI overlords a little bit longer, they have not quite taken the world by storm yet.
